A Letter To Our Customers,

While we are pleased to be launching our new website, in conjunction with our new and every growing presence in the social networking sites Facebook and Twitter, we felt it was only fitting to take the opportunity to thank our customers for making Marden's what it has become.

More than forty years ago we started out as a single location family business with the goal of success and offering the folks of Maine great bargains on everything we sold. Thanks to your patronage, support and willingness to spread the word about us, we now have fourteen stores and growing.

With our new website and social presence we plan to connect with you in ways we have never been able to before. To make available to our online followers fresh deals and opportunities before they are advertised in the local papers, radio or television.

We plan to reach out to give you more insight into Marden's as a company, beyond just the local store you might normally shop in, but still keep you in touch on the store level.

All in all, we hope you enjoy our new presence on the web, and that you will come back often to visit us. To ensure that we keep in touch, our store pages now offer RSS capability, so that you can receive updates through the news reader of your web browser, you can sign up to receive our email newsletter, and through our Twitter and Facebook accounts, you can quite realistically get updates from anywhere you have a PC or a smart phone!
